INSIGHTS INTO THE BANKING INDUSTRY

Carver Bancorp in New York has sold $1 million of common stock to the National Community Investment Fund.

 

The $723 million-asset minority depository institution disclosed in a regulatory filing that the NCIF bought about 380,000 shares of stock at $2.64 each.

 

Carver plans to use the proceeds from the private placement for general corporate purposes.
