Magnolia Bancorp in Metairie, La., is reshuffling its executive leadership team after Donice Wagner resigned as chief financial officer.
Magnolia said in a regulatory filing that Wagner will also step down as the company’s secretary on Aug. 21. Wagner, who accepted those roles in September 2025, told management that she wanted to return to her consulting practice.
The departure comes just two months after Magnolia completed a planned leadership transition involving Michael Hurley and Robert Kimbro. At that time, Hurley handed over the president and CEO roles to Kimbro.
“We are grateful for the valuable contributions Ms. Wagner made to Magnolia and Mutual Savings,” Hurley said in the filing. “We wish her continued success in her future consulting endeavors.”
In another shift, Hurley will become executive chair and CEO, while Kimbro will serve as president and CFO.
