ORNL Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, Tenn., has a new CEO.

The $3.4 billion-asset credit union said in a press release that Jenny Vipperman also became its president on Oct. 1. She succeeded Colin Anderson, who retired.

Vipperman joined ORNL from VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla., where she was chief lending officer. Prior to VyStar, she was chief lending officer at Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia.

Vipperman “is a nationally recognized credit union leader whose commitment to the credit union movement is demonstrated through her personal and professional work to improve the financial lives of all members,” ORNL Chairman Randy Gorman said in the release. “Her unique experience and expertise … will be essential as ORNL FCU continues to grow and be the best financial partner for our members.”
