Citizens Bank in Miss. announces CEO retirement

Citizens Bank of Philadelphia in Mississippi said that its CEO is retiring.

The $1.4 billion-asset unit of Citizens Holding said in a press release that Greg Mckee will also step down as its president on Jan. 31. He will remain on the bank’s board and still serve as president and CEO of the parent company.

Citizens Bank said it will make an announcement about Mckee’s successor in the next two weeks.

Mckee, who joined the Bank in 1982, has been its president and CEO since 2002.

“I would like to thank Greg for his decades of loyal service and servant leadership to this institution, enabling the bank to grow and serve Mississippi communities across our footprint,” Herbert King, the bank’s chairman, said in the release.
