INSIGHTS INTO THE BANKING INDUSTRY

CNB Financial planning women-focused bank division

CNB Financial in Clearfield, Pa., plans to launch a banking division to focus on female entrepreneurs and business leaders.

The $5.3 billion-asset CNB said in a press release that Impressia Bank, its sixth banking division, will debut next year. The platform will rely heavily on an online presence as it expands.

Impressia will also rely on regional relationship and support managers to offer specialized services such as Small Business Administrative lending, grant advisory services, treasury management, wealth management and private banking.

CNB is looking to hire a division president for Impressia.

“This is a perfect opportunity to deepen relationships and support the already high, yet growing, number of women-owned businesses,” Angela Wilcoxson, CNB’s chief commercial banking officer, said in the release.

“A prioritization of women-owned businesses would complement other divisional growth activities and allow the bank to provide even better banking options for more businesses in our communities,” Wilcoxson added.
