A pair of credit union associations are one step closer to merging.
The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates and the MDDC Credit Union Association announced that their member had voted in favor of a merger.
Beginning Jan. 1, the combined association will represent 458 credit unions, 36.2 million members, and $528.4 billion in assets. The organizations serve credit unions in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, and the Washington, D.C.
