Seamen’s Bank in Provincetown, Mass., has a new leader.
The $478.5 million-asset bank said in a LinkedIn post that its board of trustees appointed Michael Silva as president and CEO. Silva has been interim president since May; he will remain treasurer until a successor is hired.
Silva was chief financial officer before becoming interim president.
“Michael’s qualifications speak for themselves,” Steven Roderick, the bank’s chairman, said in the post. “He has been a strong fiscal manager and has proven himself to be a strong leader. Additionally, he brings over 30 years of dedication and unwavering loyalty to Seamen’s Bank.”
