B2 Bank in Mountain Iron, Minn., has overhauled its management team after hiring three executives from Climate First Bank.
The bank, which is owned by M1 Finance founder Brian Barnes, said in a press release that Ryan Jaskiewicz had become its CEO. Jaskiewicz was president of structured finance at Climate First Bank.
Chris Cucci was named president, and Chris Van Buskirk is now chief credit and risk officer. Cucci was chief strategy officer at Climate First, while Van Buskirk was chief credit officer.
“B2 Bank is at a genuinely exciting inflection point,” Jaskiewicz said in the release. “We have the regulatory foundation, the infrastructure, and now the leadership team to build something significant — a bank that operates at the intersection of community banking’s trust and relationships with the speed and scale that modern financial technology enables. We’re not building incrementally; we’re building the model for what a next-generation community bank looks like.”
