Delaware poised to have new bank commissioner

Lisa Collison has been nominated to become Delaware’s next State Bank Commissioner.

Collison has served in a wide range of regulatory and supervisory roles during three decades at the Delaware Office of the State Bank Commissioner, including bank examiner, chief bank examiner, review examiner and senior deputy bank commissioner.

“Delaware’s financial strength depends on strong, fair, and forward-looking oversight,” Gov. Matt Meyer said in a press release. “Lisa Collison brings experience, integrity, and a clear understanding of how to protect consumers while positioning Delaware to lead again in financial services. I’m proud to nominate her as our next State Bank Commissioner.”

The nomination will be sent to the Delaware Senate for confirmation.
